The purpose of the film was to follow our journey over the Newton's Playground weekend, and get our perspective of the event. We wanted to make it captivating from start to finish and I think we achieved this by using a diverse range of footage, and interesting, well composed shots. In the editing I kept it fresh by having montages to music, and also interviews as well as three kids updates. Music choice was also important and I chose original pieces by David Park and Oliver Dowie. They are both new in the music industry but have massive potential, both of them producing some wicked beats.

 

For me longboarding is about having fun, and about living life! Three Kids was born about 12 months ago when longboarders and mates alike thought it would be cool to form a longboard crew and be recognised in the local community as well as the wider skating community.
