Am 1. Oktober fand in Porto Alegre/Brasilien der Giant Slalom 2006 statt. Neben dem Bericht über den Longboard Contest von Luis, haben wir exklusives Bildmaterial für euch am Start.
What a place to skate!!! Brazilian riders love to ride their long skateboards. Now imagine when we put on a skateboard contest. That drives us crazy and that craziness took place when a very fast giant slalom course was set for our most wanted Giant Slalom Contest held in Porto Alegre (RS/Brazil) on October 1st. Everything was set to begin Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm. From 1:30pm to 4:00pm we had the warm up runs and at 4:15pm the contest began. It was able to see on the riders’ faces their eagerness to win and take the trophy home.
By the way, that trophy was awesome. It was made by "SchererGun" one of the riders. His trophies are getting better and better. He did not race because crashed hard during the warm up runs. There it goes. Every rider was supposed to have 3 runs in the course and the best time of each rider would be used for the final result. The contest rocked and all riders did their best. The riders were flying on their lines through the cones. It as pretty nice to see it and all the spectators got amazed by the riders' skills. That was a freaking cool afternoon to be remembered by all the participants! See you all in the next event.
Here is the final result:
1º Márcio | 27,41s
2º Kako Max | 27,51s
3º Bozo | 28,03s
4º Rato | 28,14s
