Burton kauft Forum auf!!!

Wie Burton uns soeben mitteilen ließ, haben sie Fourstar Distribution die kompletten Snowboard Brands abgekauft, also Forum, Special Blend, Jeenyus und Foursquare. Allerdings sollen diese Marken unter dem Burton-Dach weiterhin erhalten bleiben. Fourstar Distribution begründet den Schritt damit, sich mehr auf die Skate-Schiene mit Circa Footwear&Apparel konzentrieren zu wollen.

Burton wollte nach eigener Aussage der Ski-Industrie zuvorkommen und verhindern, dass diese sich weiter in den Snowboard-Markt einkauft.

Forum is a company we have always respected, and it is a brand that needed to stay in the hands of snowboarders. We will do our best to see that Forum and its sister brands continue to grow and develop.”
